Solving industry-specific problems
with data science and our Ossian platform.
Brainnwave was founded by bringing together talent from US Intelligence, The FBI, DARPA, Bloomberg, Accenture and The Boston Consulting Group. We understand data and how to apply analytics to solve complex business problems.
We are excited to be partnering with Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) and two other large housing associations to apply Brainnwave’s Ossian technology and our experiences in data science to the challenges of social housing and helping some of the most vulnerable people in society.
The housing sector, like many other industries, is undergoing major digital transformation. The move towards a self-service model creates an opportunity to open a world of data that was previously difficult to access or interpret and use that to improve the way business is done.
We can move away from data silos and niche stand-alone systems to a more connected world with real-time data integration that enables decisions based on analytics backed up by trusted data: this is what Ossian does.
The biggest impact
We are working with our partners to focus initially on two areas where we believe technology, data and analytics has the potential to deliver the biggest impact:
- Complete intelligence for front-line staff: layering together internal data (e.g. rent arrears, repairs) together with external data (e.g. social media, crime statistics, reports of anti-social behaviour) to create a complete view of the tenants’ environment so that the housing officer has a real-time understanding of the context and is able to quickly deal with any issues.
- Real-time management information: developing algorithms and analytical models to draw out patterns from the data and expose them to management through simple and intuitive dashboards that enable them to make decisions with confidence based on trusted data rather than assumptions.
These solutions are delivered through our Ossian cloud-based platform and designed to streamline operations, reducing manual interventions and improve life for tenants.
We are excited to be working in the social housing world and if you think we can help you please get in touch.
