Steven is a former UK Entrepreneur of the Year for founding a social enterprise creating a circular IT economy from large corporate IT waste. He has over 20 years’ experience in business strategy as a consultant at Accenture, Boston Consulting Group and at Gazprom Marketing & Trading.
Graham is an expert software engineer with over 20 years’ experience delivering state-of-the-art solutions for some of the world’s leading information companies. He has led large development teams building global data management systems for companies such as Bloomberg, Acxiom Corporation and as a consultant to DARPA and the FBI. A veteran hands-on technical manager and chief engineer, Graham has led numerous development teams through major ground-up projects, including company start-ups, acquisitions and migrations.
Justin has just under 20 years of experience in the fields of energy, commodities and capital markets, having held senior roles in sales (at Macquarie Bank and Aspect Enterprise Solutions - now part of the ION Group) and management consulting (at PFC Energy - now part of the IHS group - and Baringa Partners). He is an alumni of Sussex University (MMATH) and London Business School, and holds the PRMIA qualification.
Initially business focused in his career, Justin has subsequently gravitated towards roles where he can help customers improve their businesses through technology.
Paul served for 10+ years as a member of the Executive Team at Wood Mackenzie, where he led large teams (c. 500 people), acquisitions and integrations, transformation programmes and the strategy and planning process. He was a part of the leadership team that led the successful growth and acquisition of Wood Mackenzie (by Verisk for $1.8bn). Paul is a Director of several technology startups and an active angel investor.
Paul is a qualified accountant, having qualified with Deloitte & Touche, and holds a degree in Geology from Imperial College London. He has a corporate finance background with over 20 years’ experience in the natural resource sectors. He is the former CEO and CFO of Heritage Oil which had a premium listing on the Main Board of the London Stock Exchange and was a member of the FTSE 250 until being acquired for US$1.6 billion in 2014.
Steve is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years operational experience in a professional services environment. Having qualified with Ernst and Young, Steve joined Carey Olsen in 1996 as Chief Operating Officer. Steve oversaw the expansion of the firm and its various trust company business interests as the Group grew from 30 people to 350+. Steve left Carey Olsen in 2004 to head up the family office of the Somerston Group, an international investment group focused on real estate and private equity. Steve represents Somerston Group’s investor interests as a NED.
Richard has over 25 years' experience in high growth technology businesses, predominantly commercial. He led DNS to a successful exit to Secureworks (subsequently Dell) and holds 6 non-exec positions in Edinburgh based technology companies. He is an executive coach to a number of Edinburgh Tech entrepreneurs including Gareth Williams at Skyscanner.
David is founder and director of Catalyst Business Solutions and Executive Partner with Gartner Executive Programs. He has substantial main board experience with over 30 years of Business & IT leadership experience in global organisations. David has a proven successful track record in delivering business transformation and growth across many business sectors. Excelling at creating high performing teams and inspiring people to deliver on challenging outcomes.
